When I am not painting, I am sketching. I will usually use my book to do my rough and final drawings for the work I produce. I also use it to capture an event or a place I had been, to record an idea or two, to work out the design of a scene or a character or even to experiement with new ways of observing and executing. I never know when inspiration will occur, so I like to keep a sketchbook with me as much as possible.
