I am a born creative, with an inherent attraction to visual imagination. I possess a never-ending passion for many forms of art. After receiving a bachelor's degree in Communication Design from the University of North Texas, I made a living as a graphic designer and illustrator for design studios and agencies in the DFW area. I am now a freelance designer, illustrator and elementary school art teacher.
As a passionate artist, I draw and paint almost non-stop. I am a watercolorist at heart, but I have taken to painting digitally as well. I am also a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and have also taught illustration at the University of Texas in Arlington. My work has appeared in the “Journal of Prosthetics and Orthodics,” “Odyssey” (Cobblestone Publishing) and "Red River Kids Magazine."
Feel free to peruse the site, which showcases my illustrations for children's publishing and other publishing markets. If you have any questions or need pricing, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or from the contact page or any of my business or social networking sites listed in the sidebar.
